Full-Time Traveling Audiologist-Long Term Care

Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and support treatment of hearing conditions for residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities using mobile equipment. Conduct otoscopic exams, hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and dispense, program, and adjust hearing aids. Recommend care plans, follow-up needs, and referrals based on patient presentation. Maintain accurate documentation for each encounter and communicate concerns to facility staff or families. Coordinate with the internal scheduling team for efficient routing and coverage while representing ExcelHealth Group professionally. Requires a Doctor of Audiology degree, valid state license, and willingness to travel statewide. Full-time employment with paid time off, health insurance reimbursement, and basic vehicle maintenance support.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology degree or other state-approved audiology credential required for licensure
  • Valid state license to practice audiology, or ability to obtain required licensure before starting
  • Valid malpractice coverage or ability to obtain coverage
  • Ability and willingness to travel statewide to assigned long-term care and skilled nursing facility locations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with hearing evaluations, otoscopy, hearing aid fitting, programming, maintenance, and patient education
