Job Summary
Lead a class of toddlers through the school year by actively engaging with students, creating and following a comprehensive curriculum, and teaching beginning reading and math skills. Assist children with developing social and emotional skills using a range of instructional methods, while communicating regularly with parents and other school personnel. Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones. Maintain strict adherence to classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Requires TCC or Associates degree, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong child development knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- TCC/ Associates degree or higher
- CPR/ First Aid certification
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem solving and mediation skills
