Full Time Teller - Mayfield, KY

A Teller undertakes bank transactions and interacts directly with customers. A Teller is usually the first person a customer sees when they walk into one of our locations and must work into a Saturday rotation. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing deposits and cashing checks, identifying counterfeit currency, promoting products such as cashier’s checks and prepaid gift cards, exchanging foreign currency, ordering bank cards and checks, balancing the cash drawer, answering inquiries about accounts, resolving account issues, and maintaining accurate records per bank procedures. Requires 1 year of teller experience (customer service preferred) and completion of mandatory training within specified timelines; independence Bank Teller Certification within 6 months. Working conditions are indoors with potential to drive-thru and float to other locations as needed.
