Job Summary
Process member financial requests, handle cash transactions, and manage account and loan servicing duties while adhering to compliance standards. Escort members through delivery channels including mobile deposit, online applications, and Interactive Teller Machines. Utilize a consultative sales approach to educate members on products and cross-sell appropriate services. Maintain accurate records via Synapsys and Lobby Tracker systems. This role operates in-branch at Lebanon Branch in Lebanon, PA, requiring standing and movement throughout the day with periodic travel to other branches.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 6 months of experience in customer-facing or transactional role
- Experience in cash handling
- Experience in retail
- Experience in sales
- Experience in customer service
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrating strong communication skills
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- Ability to open cabinets
- Ability to bend or stand
- 100% in branch work
- Ability to handle cash, including large amounts
- Ability to maintain accurate and precise transactional records

- Ability to maintain member and employee confidentiality
- Knowledge and adherence of Federal and State compliance laws and regulations

- Ability to provide efficient, prompt and accurate service in handling and processing member financial and service requests
- Ability to positively contribute to the member experience by escorting members through appropriate delivery channels
- Ability to support the referrals and sales and service culture at Belco in every interaction with members and the public
Desired Qualifications
- Higher education
- More than 6 months of experience working in member service, lending, or call center department within a financial institution
- Broad knowledge of credit union functions
- In-depth knowledge of member compliance
