Job Summary
Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming environment while processing transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting. Maintain a balanced cash drawer, adhere to internal controls, and cross-sell bank products to generate new business and build loyalty. Respond to inquiries by researching positive solutions and uphold high integrity with careful attention to detail. Complete one week of paid training and pass the Teller Certification test within the first three weeks. This role requires long periods of standing or sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and availability for weekend hours at the MidFirst Banking Center on 63rd & MacArthur.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment
- Excellent customer-service skills, including oral and written communication
- Ability to effectively contribute to a positive team environment and work toward achieving goals
- Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Strong computer and 10 key skills
- Outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality
- Must successfully pass our Teller Certification test to be allowed to operate a Teller drawer
- Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds
- Candidates must be available to work weekend hours
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of banking products and procedures
- Successful sales record in a retail sales or banking environment
- Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills
- Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
