Job Summary
Telemetry RN responsible for quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs, diagnosing and developing treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff, completing paperwork and patient charting, managing multiple cases, prioritizing needs, and using available resources for problem-solving. Role includes delegating tasks and care to appropriate staff with timely follow-up, facilitating learning for patients, families, and the nursing team, protecting patient confidentiality and rights, and participating in quality/performance improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of acute care RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required
- Must be comfortable with drips
- BLS required
