Job Summary
Conduct team lead duties by training and coaching non-management employees, administering company policies, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Operate projection and audio-visual equipment within the theatre, monitor maintenance standards, and enforce dress codes while managing risk for employee and patron safety. Report performance issues, policy violations, and accident details to Theatre Management, ensuring compliance with emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures. Review training materials covering harassment prevention and regulatory requirements. Directly supervise team members in accordance with Regal's policies and applicable laws, with nights and weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student)
- At least three months supervisory experience
- 6 months theatre experience with completion of Level 1 Team Member Star Program
- Completion of team lead training
- Review, understanding, and demonstration of all Team Member level policies & procedures
- Advanced knowledge of emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures
- Ability to read and understand training materials covering harassment prevention and other regulatory compliance
- Good public speaking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, vendors, corporate staff, etc.
- Ability to listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, and explain information to others
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors
- Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems
- Ability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, reach conclusions based on evidence, and recommend solutions
- Ability to take action beyond what is necessarily called for and perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision
- Ability to perform under pressure and/or opposition
- Proven experience with PC platforms
- Knowledge of basic office programs including but not limited to e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to operate copiers and other office equipment
- Ability to devise and access different filing systems and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to use tools and equipment with dexterity and perform mechanical tasks as necessary
- Ability to interface excellently with customers, the public, and co-workers
- Ability to exhibit sensitivity to the feelings of others
- Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives
- Ability to directly supervise an unspecified number of employees
