Job Summary
Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for 14 to 16 school-age patients receiving behavioral health treatment in a small classroom setting. Provide individualized academic assistance and monitor teaching strategies to ensure student success while maintaining accurate attendance and session reports. Communicate regularly about student progress as needed. Commit to a 40-hour week Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Join LearnWell to support the educational reintegration of students with behavioral health needs through on-site services in hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Alaska teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
