Job Summary
Assist individuals with mental illness to live independently in the community by serving as a primary support and case manager under direct supervision. Provide specialty area knowledge to the treatment team and program while driving clients to appointments and groups using a personal or company vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or GED with three years of direct mental health services experience, plus one year in the specific specialty area. Full-time swing shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with a starting wage of $28.27 to $34.54. Join the San Mateo Mobile Crisis Response Team to deliver compassionate behavioral health services and reduce unnecessary law enforcement involvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent
- three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services
- Associate's degree
- two (2) years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services
- at least 1 year of experience in the area of specialty served (e.g. Benefits, Educational, Employment, etc.)
- Valid and current driver's license
- personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
