Job Summary
Conduct over 300 thyroid and parathyroid operations, including reoperative cases, minimally invasive techniques, and management of regional metastatic disease. Gain expertise in ultrasound and cancer management while participating in resident and student education and limited research. Receive exposure to contemporary Head & Neck practices through six fellowship-trained surgeons, with additional coverage for major ablative cases, microvascular reconstructions, and skullbase surgery based on interest. Complete a one-year operative program with optional two-year commitment, including mission electives and assistance at the VA or county hospital. Limited call and clinic responsibilities exist to balance operative focus. A California Medical License and ENT residency training are required.
