Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, securing cash, and ensuring all associates deliver the B.E.S.T. customer service experience. Direct crew members through training on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures while actively driving sales through optimized merchandising and staff performance. Handle urgent issues as Manager on Duty, assist with receiving and organizing new stock, and perform essential maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room organization. Work a flexible schedule requiring day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to frequently exchange accurate information in these situations
- Ability to frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers
- Ability to retrieve and put away merchandise
