Job Summary
Levi Strauss & Co is seeking a Full Time Supervisor for Outlets of Des Moines/Altoona, IA to lead store management efforts and deliver a high-energy shopping experience. The role involves supervising and coaching associates, training on LS&CO culture, product knowledge, and service practices; resolving customer concerns in line with policy; partnering with store management to set expectations and drive engagement, retention, and performance; handling cash and merchandise operations (shipments, floor sets, markdowns, replenishment); and contributing to achieving sales and store goals while maintaining brand standards and loss-prevention practices. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a willingness to lead by example in customer service, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business (evening, weekend and holiday shifts)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with cash handling, store operations, and loss prevention
- Ability to manage merchandising, floor sets, and replenishment
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to meet performance goals and provide feedback to staff
