Job Summary
Provide daily coverage at the campus as needed to ensure consistency in academic programming, execute lesson plans for assigned classes, perform school duties, maintain behavior management as per the school plan, participate in school-wide professional development, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families. The role involves collaboration within grade-level or content teams, ongoing coaching from instructional leaders, and potential progression into teaching positions. Strong belief in UP Academy’s mission and values, a desire to serve educationally underserved student populations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Current authorization to work in the United States – A candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment.
