Job Summary
Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports while leading and developing store personnel. Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns, interview candidates for store positions, and manage personnel including advancement and termination recommendations. Collaborate with district managers to resolve issues, minimize liability, and ensure compliance with policies, federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare weekly schedules, manage inventory and cash procedures, maintain zone standards, and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Train store personnel, evaluate performance, and attend district operations calls and management meetings to achieve store KPI goals and budgets. Travel within divisional requirements for training at multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have flexibility to travel within divisional requirements
- Must be able to place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights
- Must be able to operate equipment such as electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubber and cardboard baler
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments)
- Must be able to handle and sell alcoholic beverages and meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling of alcoholic beverages
- Must obtain a ServSafe certification or other applicable state/local certifications to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
