Job Summary
ALDI Store Manager Trainee program to develop the skills to lead a store. Responsibilities include communicating job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results, resolving employee and customer concerns with district manager collaboration, interviewing candidates, managing personnel, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, training and developing staff, coaching performance, maintaining store safety and merchandising standards, scheduling, and driving sales while aligning with the company strategy and core values. Demonstrates leadership to foster a positive, collaborative work environment and ensures adherence to customer service guidelines, dietary and food-safety considerations (ServSafe where applicable), and operational KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience
- Ability to develop rapport and leadership of store personnel
- Ability to communicate effectively and model company core values
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute schedules and goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
- ServSafe certification or other applicable state/local certifications may be required
- May be required to handle and sell alcoholic beverages and meet state/local requirements
