Job Summary
Communicates job responsibilities to direct reports, develops action plans to improve operating results, and oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns. Leads and supervises store personnel, including interviewing candidates, recommending advancement or termination, and providing performance feedback. Manages compliance with policies, safety standards, and inventory procedures while preparing weekly schedules and conducting team meetings. Collaborates with district managers to align store operations with company strategy and achieve KPI goals. Trains staff on customer service guidelines and operational tasks, ensuring adherence to merchandising and expense policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have flexibility to travel within divisional requirements
- Must be able to place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights
- Must be able to operate equipment such as electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubber and cardboard baler
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments)
- Must be able to handle and sell alcoholic beverages and meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling of alcoholic beverages
- Must obtain a ServSafe certification or other applicable state/local certifications to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
