Job Summary
Store Manager Trainee program at ALDI to develop the skills to lead a store, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include communicating priorities to direct reports, developing and implementing action plans, supervising personnel, interviewing candidates, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, scheduling, training, budgeting, and maintaining a positive, safe work environment. Starting wage is $27.25 per hour with earning potential up to $101,500 in the first year (including salary and bonus where applicable).
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience
- Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with direct reports
- Ability to lead, train, and develop store personnel
- Ability to implement action plans and manage store operations
- Ability to manage scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and customer service
- ServSafe certification or other applicable state/local certifications may be required to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (may be required)
