Job Summary
Stock shelves, process customer purchases using the POS system, and maintain zone standards while adhering to merchandising planograms. Provide exceptional customer service by modeling principles, assisting with curbside pickup orders, and ensuring timely delivery. Perform general cleaning tasks, operate equipment like floor scrubbers and cash registers, and identify hazards to support a safe working environment. Inform management of scanning errors, product loss, or operational concerns as needed. Complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving items from the store.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
