Job Summary
Stock shelves and displays according to planograms, process customer purchases using the POS system, and perform general cleaning to maintain zone standards. Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional customer service, complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items, and adhere to cash policies and procedures. Identify and rectify hazards to ensure a safe working environment while operating equipment such as cash registers and floor scrubbers. Lift products up to 45 pounds and work in varying temperatures including freezers and coolers. Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
