Job Summary
Merchandise, stock shelves, and clean the store to maintain standards and maximize sales. Process customer purchases using the POS system, adhere to cash policies, and manage checkout lanes efficiently. Retrieve items for curbside pickup, verify orders, and deliver to customers. Identify and rectify hazards, maintain equipment, and follow inventory procedures to support operational and loss goals. Work in varying temperatures including freezers and coolers while lifting up to 45 pounds. Requires 30+ hours per week at $18.50 per hour with wage increases through Year 5. Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Desired Qualifications

- Prior work experience in a retail environment
