Job Summary
Merchandise shelves and displays according to planograms while maintaining zone standards. Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system and adhere to cash policies. Provide prompt, courteous customer service and escalate concerns to store management. Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items, verifying contents, and delivering to vehicles. Perform general cleaning tasks and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Operate equipment including cash registers, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks. Work independently and collaboratively to achieve operational and loss reduction goals.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
