Job Summary
Merchandise shelves and displays per planograms, process customer purchases using the POS system, and manage curbside pickup orders with accuracy. Maintain zone standards, perform general cleaning tasks, and ensure a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment. Collaborate with the team to enhance the customer experience, adhere to cash policies, and support management in achieving operational and loss goals. Lift products up to 45 pounds and operate various store equipment including cash registers and floor scrubbers. Work in varying temperatures including freezers and coolers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
