Job Summary
Merchandise and stock product while maintaining zone and merchandising standards. Process customer purchases using the POS system and adhere to cash policies. Clean the store to company standards and operate equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks. Retrieve items for curbside pickup orders and verify contents before delivery. Collaborate with the team to enhance the customer shopping experience and assist management with operational and loss goals. Full-time role with 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $18.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
