Job Summary
Conduct merchandising, stocking, and cleaning to maintain store standards and maximize sales. Process customer purchases using the POS system while adhering to cash policies and line policies to ensure efficient checkouts. Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional customer service, model service principles, and escalate concerns to management. Retrieve and deliver curbside pickup orders accurately from the staging area. Identify and rectify hazards to support a safe working environment and assist management in achieving operational and loss goals.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
