Job Summary
Merchandise shelves and stock products while adhering to planograms, and process customer purchases using the POS system to ensure accurate scanning. Clean the store to company standards, maintain zone and merchandising standards, and complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and delivering them to customers. Collaborate with the team to enhance the customer shopping experience, inform management of scanning errors or product loss, and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Operate equipment including cash registers and floor scrubbers while following all established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
