Job Summary
Merchandise and stock product while maintaining zone standards and merchandising planograms. Process customer purchases using the point-of-sale system, adhere to cash policies, and manage additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout. Provide exceptional customer service by modeling principles and collaborating with the team, while identifying and rectifying hazards to maintain a safe working environment. Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items, verifying contents, and delivering them to customers' vehicles. Perform general cleaning tasks and operate equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks. Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements for this full-time role with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
