Job Summary
Model and fulfill customer service principles while scanning purchases, processing transactions, and adhering to cash policies. Stock shelves and displays according to planograms, complete curbside pickup orders, and perform general cleaning to maintain zone standards. Inform store management of loss due to damaged products, scanning errors, or hazards, and assist in achieving operational and total loss goals. Operate equipment including cash registers, floor scrubbers, and pallet jacks while lifting up to 45 pounds. Work 30+ hours per week at a starting wage of $18.50, with wage increases through Year 5. Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Desired Qualifications

- Prior work experience in a retail environment
