Job Summary
Merchandise and stock shelves following planograms while maintaining zone standards. Process customer purchases using the POS system and adhere to cash policies. Clean the store to company standards and perform general maintenance tasks. Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items, verifying contents, and delivering to customers. Collaborate with the team to enhance the customer shopping experience and assist management in achieving operational and loss goals. Work 30+ hours per week at $19.00 per hour with scheduled wage increases. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 45 pounds in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
