Job Summary
Stock shelves and display product according to planograms while maintaining zone standards. Process customer purchases using the POS system, adhere to cash policies, and manage checkout lanes to ensure efficient service. Perform general cleaning tasks, operate equipment like floor scrubbers and cash registers, and complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items. Identify and rectify safety hazards to support a safe working environment. Model customer service principles and escalate concerns to management as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
