Job Summary
Merchandise shelves and stock product while adhering to planograms, complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and verifying contents, and maintain zone standards. Process customer purchases using the POS system, follow cash policies, and perform general cleaning tasks to company standards. Collaborate with the team to enhance the customer shopping experience, identify safety hazards, and assist management in achieving operational and loss reduction goals. Lift up to 45 pounds and operate equipment including cash registers and floor scrubbers. Work 30+ hours weekly at $18.00 per hour with wage increases through Year 5. Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment
