Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness while delivering exceptional customer service. Key duties include using the POS system for purchases, handling cash per policies, opening additional check lanes as needed, stocking shelves per merchandising planograms, processing curbside pickup orders, ensuring inventory and safety standards, and supporting management to improve operational efficiency and loss prevention. Requires the ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate store equipment, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old required
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to meet availability requirements
