Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain store appearance, while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, following cash policies, opening additional check lanes as needed, stocking shelves per planograms, completing curbside pickup orders from staging to customer vehicles, maintaining zone and merchandising standards, assisting management with operational efficiency and loss goals, maintaining a safe work environment, following inventory procedures, and performing general cleaning. Must be at least 18 years old, able to provide prompt customer service, operate store equipment, follow policies, communicate effectively, and be available with reliable attendance. The position is full-time with average hours around 30+ per week and starts at $17.50 per hour with scheduled wage increases over time.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers)
- Ability to interpret and apply operating policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
