Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI: responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service. Duties include operating the POS system, following cash policies, managing curbside pickup orders, maintaining merchandising standards, assisting management with efficiency and loss goals, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Requires at least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; full-time with 30+ hours per week; starting wage $17.50/hour with annual increases through Year 5.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS and store equipment
- Able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
