Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain store appearance; delivers exceptional customer service and enhances the shopping experience by collaborating with the ALDI team; operates the POS system, adheres to cash policies, supports curbside pickup, maintains merchandising standards, and assists in achieving loss and operational goals; performs physical tasks (lifting up to 45 pounds), uses cleaning and store equipment, and upholds safety and inventory procedures; requires strong communication, reliability, and ability to work with others.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS and store equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Reliability and punctual attendance
