Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI driving customer satisfaction through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and store cleanliness. Responsibilities include operating POS, processing purchases, adhering to cash policies, following merchandising planograms, executing curbside pickup, maintaining zone and inventory standards, assisting management with loss prevention and operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe, well-organized store environment. Requires strong customer service skills, ability to use store equipment, basic arithmetic, and reliable attendance. Starting wage is $18.00/hour with increases in subsequent years. Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum age 18. Willingness to work in a full-time position with 30+ hours per week in St. Joseph, MO (US).
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate store equipment (cash registers, baler, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Attention to detail and task prioritization
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Availability as required for the role
