Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain store appearance, while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties include using the POS system, adhering to cash policies, opening additional check lanes as needed, stocking/displaying items per planograms, completing curbside pickup orders, maintaining zone and merchandising standards, supporting management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals, and ensuring a safe working environment with proper ergonomics and equipment maintenance. Requires ability to work with others, strong communication, basic arithmetic, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate cash registers and POS
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Availability to meet scheduling requirements
