Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain a well-presented store. Delivers exceptional customer service, operates the POS system, processes curbside pickup orders, adheres to cash policies, follows merchandising plans, and supports safety and integrity of store operations. Works collaboratively with the ALDI team to meet operational efficiency goals, maintain inventory procedures, and uphold store standards while handling physical tasks and assisting customers throughout shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to interpret and follow ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks
