Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI will merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain a clean, organized store. Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, operating the POS system, processing curbside pickup orders, adhering to cash policies, following merchandising planograms, maintaining inventory and safety, and supporting management to improve efficiency and loss control. The role requires strong communication, basic arithmetic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and with others.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
- Ability to meet availability requirements.
- At least 18 years old required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
