Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a positive customer experience. Duties include operating the POS system, following cash policies, opening additional lanes as needed, stocking shelves per merchandising planograms, fulfilling curbside pickup orders, maintaining zone and merchandising standards, supporting management to improve operational efficiency and loss prevention, and ensuring a safe working environment. Requires effective communication, reliability, basic arithmetic, and ability to work with a team in a retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate POS and cash registers
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Strong organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
