Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to enhance the customer shopping experience. Performs duties with or without reasonable accommodation, uses POS for purchases, adheres to cash policies, supports efficient checkout with multiple lanes, stocks shelves per merchandising planograms, completes curbside orders for timely delivery, maintains zone and merchandising standards, helps management achieve operational efficiency and loss-reduction goals, and contributes to a safe, well-organized store environment including handling inventory and cleaning tasks. Requires strong customer service, basic arithmetic, ability to operate store equipment, and reliable attendance. Minimum age 18; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Strong organization and time-management skills
