Job Summary
Store Associate at ALDI focused on merchandising and stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store presentable. Responsibilities include customer service, operating the POS system, processing purchases, handling cash policies, opening additional check lanes when needed, stocking and displaying products per planograms, completing curbside pickup orders, maintaining zone and merchandising standards, supporting management to improve operational efficiency and loss reduction, ensuring safety and proper equipment maintenance, ensuring proper inventory handling, and performing general cleaning. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds, work in varied temperatures, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Requires ability to meet availability and age 18+, with a HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate all store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers).
- Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Work independently and with others.
- Organize, prioritize and complete tasks to maximize productivity within timeframes.
- Maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
- Meet availability requirements.
