Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic modalities, manual therapies, and exercises to enhance recovery. Design and deliver specialized strength and conditioning programs for athletes and active individuals. Educate patients and families on treatment options, therapeutic exercises, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including sports trainers, nutritionists, and medical doctors to ensure holistic care. Stay current on physical therapy developments through continuous professional development and training. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a supportive onsite setting focused on orthopedic and sports medicine therapies.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related healthcare field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sports physical therapy or a similar clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to foster a collaborative environment, actively engaging in a team-oriented approach to care
- A steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring positive outcomes through dedicated practices
