Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate physical abilities, limitations, and specific needs of patients recovering from sports-related injuries. Develop customized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to enhance recovery. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques while creating comprehensive strength and conditioning programs tailored to each athlete's needs. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- At least two years of relevant experience in physical therapy, specifically in a sports or orthopedic setting
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
