Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify impairments and functional limitations, then design and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies while developing strength and conditioning programs to enhance sports performance and facilitate timely return to sport. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including doctors and nutritionists to ensure cohesive care for professional and amateur athletes recovering from orthopedic injuries. Maintain high standards of practice by staying informed about current research and advances in physical therapy. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our state-of-the-art Mesquite facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- At least 2 years of proven experience in physical therapy, particularly in sports performance and orthopedic care
- Exceptional communication skills
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on positive outcomes and successful rehabilitation pathways
Desired Qualifications
- Background in sports therapy or athletics, with experience in strength and conditioning protocols
- Interest or experience with advanced continuing education, certifications, or fellowship training in specialized areas of physical therapy
