Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations using standardized assessment tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, and function, tailoring interventions for athletes and active individuals. Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to facilitate recovery, while educating patients on self-care strategies to prevent future injuries. Design customized strength and conditioning programs focusing on sports performance and safe return to activity. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and nutritionists to ensure holistic care. Treat a varied demographic ranging from recreational athletes to those recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Requires active Nevada licensure and minimum two years of clinical experience. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Nevada
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience focusing on physical therapy, sports performance, and strength and conditioning practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care
- Passion for helping patients achieve optimal outcomes
- Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports setting
- Interest in furthering education and training, with a focus on certifications, residency, and fellowship options through IAR Education Systems
