Job Summary
Provide and direct patient/resident rehabilitation care within general accepted practice methods, meeting all facility, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Evaluate patient/resident needs to establish effective and efficient treatment plans, then manage and coordinate supervision of these plans with all staff and disciplines. Participate in screening all patients according to directed schedules, provide feedback to the Team Leader on clinical issues, and perform necessary clinical documentation. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely billing records while showing effective management of treatment and non-treatment activities. Assist with marketing efforts as directed and participate in in-service training programs. May travel to other facilities to provide services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with minimally a bachelors degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy, or a masters degree in speech-language pathology and/or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body
- Actively licensed therapist in assigned state(s) of employment as a Speech Language Pathologist, Physical or Occupational Therapist or related health care profession
- Must have at minimum 1 (one) year of experience
- May travel to other facilities to provide services
