Job Summary
Full Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Allen View Healthcare Center. Evaluate, review, and screen patients' medical charts, evaluations under physician order, and develop a treatment plan to address communication, swallowing, and cognitive needs. Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs, administer and interpret specialized speech tests, and instruct residents, families, and caregivers on practicing new skills and safe swallowing techniques. Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and make recommendations, and participate in family education. Opportunity to treat at multiple locations. Sign-on bonus of $5,000. Communicate with rehab team to support residents and carry out therapy plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State Speech Language Pathology License (valid or pending)
