Job Summary

Evaluate and treat individuals with voice, fluency, speech, language, and swallowing disorders while documenting efforts and patient responses per professional guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and referral sources. Bill patient accounts for equipment and services rendered. Maintain clinical skills through continuing education and share knowledge with peers. Participate in patient care conferences, departmental programs, in-services, and meetings. Engage in quality improvement activities and demonstrate productivity through patient volume. Sit up to five hours daily and stand/walk up to six hours, lifting patients up to 50 lbs. Requires a Doctoral or Master's degree, CCC-SLP, and current state license.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey, based on work location
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Pennsylvania license in Speech Pathology
  • Current CPR certification
