Job Summary
The Sonographer operates imaging equipment, primarily ultrasound, to assist in diagnosis and treatment, requiring proficiency in imaging, patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Responsibilities include patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Must meet education and licensure requirements (Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography with clinical hours; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications and BLS; state licensure as applicable), have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and be prepared to comply with regional requirements within Arkansas practices as noted. The role emphasizes safe machine operation, attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
- ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
