Job Summary
Provide friendly, professional service and assistance to guests throughout the gaming floor while paying jackpots, processing break bills, and filling ticket printers. Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on slot machines, routinely inspect equipment for potential problems, and maintain gaming logs and work tickets in accordance with regulations. Answer guest questions, assist with ATM issues, and monitor the floor for safety hazards. Communicate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth Slot Operations and attend scheduled meetings. Follow all applicable gaming regulations and policies while promoting the "Be the BEST" culture. This active role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly at Tioga Downs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately count and handle money in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to work effectively with guests and team members in a busy environment
- Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and up to 100 lbs. infrequently
- Ability to see at close and far distances, distinguish colors, and maintain depth and peripheral perception
